Rabbit Class and Squirrel Class
Welcome to year 1. Your child has now moved from the early years part of their primary journey into Keystage 1. During the last term in reception and the first term in year 1, children will transition from play based learning to more structured lessons - but don't worry, there are still lots of fun, exciting and creative activities to keep your child engaged and loving coming to school. As there was in reception, there remains a real focus and emphasis on phonics and learning to read in year 1.
